Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is seeking an experienced AoD Practitioner to deliver kaupapa Maori alcohol and drug treatment programmes for youth in Hawke's Bay Prison.

TToH is innovative, values based and family-focussed. Our health, social, eduation and community development teams have been working successfully with whanau across sunny Hawke's Bay for the past 32 years.
The role involves running 8 week AoD programmes with prisoners under 25 years of age and developing the programme to achieve youth engagement in AoD treatment.
TToH is the largest AoD provider in Hawke's Bay and has a range of roles and work contexts.
Applicants ideally would:
- Have a qualification in applied addiction studies or a related applied health or social science degree
- Be a registered practitioner under the HPCA Act
- Have strong cultural skills and knowledge specific to Maori and Pasifika clients
- Be able to meet prison and Vulnerable Children's Act requirements
