Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (as part of the Te Ara Tiatia Consortium) provides a Drug Treatment Unit (DTU) in the Hawke's Bay and Wellington Prisons. DTUs are separate units where prisoners can address underlying issues with alcohol or other drugs and develop skills for a successful change

We are looking for a Clinical Team Manager who has proven experience in a leadership or a managerial role, to manage assigned teams to deliver high quality services to prisoners and whanau in their area of responsibility and ensure funder expectations are met.
Reporting to the Services Portfolio Manager, this position will lead, support, engage and grow team members to deliver results and services aligned to TToH’s philosophy and values. They will also be responsible for operational and clinical/professional responsibilities of their team with a focus on quality services and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
We look for people who are relationship orientated, committed to delivering first class services, are results focussed and who can demonstrate an understanding of integrated working and whanau centric approaches. An ability to build credibility among staff, whanau and our rohe is essential.
We require applicants to have a relevant tertiary qualification in the Addictions field and/or HPA registration or similar. Demonstrated experience in a comparable role is advantageous.
